What's known so far:

Often called Toxail by other folks as it's in their tails where the most danger lies. They shoot out a venomous liquid from the tips of their tails. 
One of the most potent venoms in existence, touching it will result in instant paralysis. Death soon follows. 

They are generally passive. It takes some time for them to digest prey. They usually sit around waiting for prey to pass. Once they made their kill they swallow their prey whole. 

They have their own language but as it's near impossible to study by other folks due to how dangerous they are.
